How to Make a Strawberry Milkshake

Monday July 13, 2009
how to make a strawberry milkshakeStrawberry season is winding down in my neck of the woods, so I've been making the most of the fresh local strawberries I've been able to find before it's all over. This fresh strawberry milkshake recipe was, not surprisingly, one of the kids' favorite concoctions. Of course, they loved the taste (who wouldn't?). But they also loved making it.

If you wanted to take the time, you could strain the strawberry mixture, but honestly, I don't think it's necessary. Those few tiny seeds you'll taste (if you even taste them at all) are lovely reminders that this is a fresh strawberry milkshake. Who could ask for more?
