Thanksgiving Desserts

Sunday November 8, 2009
thanksgiving desserts - chocolate pecan pieThanksgiving desserts can be traditional or not. I like to make two or three Thanksgiving desserts so everyone has something to choose from. Plus, I always have a huge crowd and everybody likes dessert! Here are some of my favorite Thanksgiving dessert recipes:
  • Pumpkin Pie -- It's a classic, and this version has a layer of crushed ginger snaps pressed into the crust before the custard is added to keep the crust from getting soggy. Yum!
  • Chocolate Pecan Pie -- If you've got chocolate-lovers coming to Thanksgiving dinner (and who doesn't?), they will adore this version of pecan pie.
  • Caramel Apple Pie Recipe -- This one is a nice twist on traditional apple pie.
  • Pumpkin Tiramisu -- Sounds fancy, but it's actually quite simple. This is one of my kids' favorite Thanksgiving desserts.
