Oven Baked BBQ Chicken

Get all the great, smoky flavor of barbecue chicken with none of the hassle when you make this simple oven baked BBQ chicken recipe. The chicken is marinated for 6-8 hours, then slow-baked in a low-temperature oven for 2 hours. The recipe takes a bit of advance planning, but almost no actual work.

This chicken makes a fantastic weeknight meal, especially in the warm weather when you want to eat outside. Serve with apple pecan coleslaw and potato salad.
