I think this weekend is officially "Fire-Up-the-Grill-or-You-Aren't-American weekend. OK, not really, of course. But burgers and hot dogs will no doubt be on the menu at some point for most of us this weekend. Why not add some pizzazz to your cookout with these creative burger toppings and recipe ideas? Try, for example, my Italian burger with pesto, roma tomato slices and fresh mozzarella cheese. Or my Southern barbecue burger with peach salsa and hickory smoked barbecue sauce.
