I began making fruit smoothies as a way to boost my own nutritional intake. When I had kids, I continued to get creative with smoothies. These smoothie recipes are some of my kids' favorites - I make the berry fruit smoothies at least once a week. But the truth is once you learn the basic formula for how to make a smoothie, you can invent your own smoothie flavors on the fly.
Try adding in coconut, a tablespoon of peanut butter, chocolate chips or one of my recommended smoothie recipe add-ins. The possibilities are limited only to your imagination.
