The vanilla soy milk in this peach smoothie recipe give this drink a peaches-and-cream flavor that makes it taste like dessert. But because this smoothie is made with only fruit, natural fruit juice and yogurt, it's far healthier than most desserts.Although this recipe calls for frozen peaches (they're already peeled and sliced, so easier to use), feel free to use fresh peaches instead. Just peel and slice, and freeze on a waxed paper-lined baking sheet. After about 30 minutes, transfer to an airtight, freezer-safe container to store until you're ready to use them.
Check out these peach recipes, too:
- Peach Salad Recipe - Fresh peaches, greens, glazed pecans and goat cheese give this salad a sweet, crunchy and creamy flavor that just hits the palate on all cylinders.
- Peach Crisp Recipe - Nothing could be easier than a peach crisp as far as dessert recipes go. This one takes less than 15 minutes of active prep time.
- Grilled Peaches - Fruit on the barbecue? Oh yeah. These grilled peaches are topped with a drizzle of honey, shaved parmesan cheese and toasted walnuts.
