I admit it. I can be a bit of a kitchen-sink type of cook. You know the kind - they throw everything but the kitchen sink into a recipe, thinking it will be better. Mark Bittman, eat your heart out. Simplicity has its place, to be sure, especially for accomplished cooks. But sometimes, throwing everything you've got into a recipe actually does up the flavor ante.
Such is the case with this potato salad recipe. Yukon gold potatoes, bacon, celery, red onions and hard-boiled eggs in a sweet and tangy dressing. What could be better? Serve this at your Labor Day picnic, and everyone will want the recipe. Trust me.
