I always thought the squirrels had the right idea. Storing away food for later. Busy moms could learn a thing or two from them. These freezer meals are the right idea. Set aside time on the weekend or in the evenings, make a double batch of some of your favorite recipes, and freeze. To reheat, thaw overnight in the fridge before warming through. The trick with freezer recipes is wrapping them very tightly. I like to store casseroles in containers that go from freezer to oven so I can reheat easily. Other recipes, like this beef stew can simply be stored in your favorite airtight, freezer-safe container, then reheated on the stove or in the slow cooker. Enjoy!
