Looking for a fun Thanksgiving activity to do with the kids? These Oreo cookie turkeys are a simple-to-make treat that even preschoolers can manage. And they're a great way to use that leftover candy corn from Halloween, too. I've made these with the kids in the past on Thanksgiving and used them as place cards. The kids write the guests' names on a plate in gel icing, then place the cookie turkeys on the plate. It's an extra, whimsical dessert that everyone enjoys.Want something a bit more filling? Try my turkey cupcakes. You can use any type of cupcake as the base, but I prefer chocolate cupcakes.
