I love this Crockpot stuffing recipe because it's always moist (the slow cooker is great for making sure of that), and it frees up oven space. I'm not a big fan of cooking the stuffing in the turkey, because by the time both the turkey and the stuffing are cooked to the proper temperature, the turkey is often overdone. But I'm also not a fan of using up precious oven space on Thanksgiving. This slow cooker stuffing is the perfect solution. The addition of cranberries and chopped apples makes this recipe stand out, too.
