If you want to get into the Christmas spirit fast, all you really have to do is bake a batch of these gingerbread cookies. The warm molasses aroma makes the whole house smell like the holidays. Everyone who tries this easy recipe loves it, and kids have a ball cutting and decorating these cookies. And you can even make the dough in advance. Just wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 24 to 48 hours.
