Sugar cookies are the poster children for Christmas baking, and it's no wonder: They're fun to make, delicious to eat and great for decorating. These sugar cookie recipes give you lots of different options that go way beyond the classic roll, cut and bake sugar cookies. Try my chocolate sugar cookies for something a little different. Or for a simpler recipe, try my easy sugar cookies. Instead of rolling and cutting these cookies, they are shaped into a log and refrigerated, then sliced. I decorate these cookies by rolling the log of dough in red and green colored sugar before slicing.
