This overnight French toast casserole recipe tastes like Christmas morning to me. It's sweet and special and because you make it the night before, it's a perfect Christmas brunch recipe. The crunchy streusel topping is what really takes this casserole over the top.You can use any kind of bread for this recipe, but I like challah. I think the texture really soaks up the egg custard nicely. Be sure to use day-old bread for the best results.
