Sometimes the hardest part about getting dinner on the table is thinking of new and different side dishes. After all, burgers or chicken just doesn't seem like a meal by itself, does it? These side dishes are basic recipes that are sure to become part of your regular weekly repertoire. Take my roasted green beans. With just three ingredients, this isn't a complicated recipe, but it sure is tasty (hence, the 5 star ratings).
For something even easier, try my Crockpot rice. Once you try making rice in the slow cooker, you will never go back to the stovetop method again.
For the broccoli-lovers, my broccoli mashed potatoes combine two favorites in one side dish. This is also a great way to get kids to like broccoli.
All of these dishes go well with chicken, pork, beef, fish and pasta.
