Cream cheese in the batter gives this cake a rich texture. The chocolate chip streusel filling is a wonderful addition to this cake. I make this cake often for holidays and family events.
For something a little richer, try my chocolate raspberry cake. A thin raspberry glaze adorns a rich (though easy to make) chocolate cake. The whole thing is then topped with a rich chocolate ganache. Yum!
