It may disappoint you that the Irish in Ireland don't really eat corned beef and cabbage. But that doesn't have to stop you from enjoying this Crockpot corned beef and cabbage recipe
on St. Patrick's Day or any time. The brown sugar, Dijon mustard and apple juice braising liquid flavors the corned beef beautifully. To save time, ask your butcher to trim the corned beef for you. That is truly the hardest part of this recipe.
Serve this corned beef with colcannon (an authentic Irish potato dish made up of mashed potatoes, cabbage and onions) or roasted potatoes.
