Beef Brisket with BBQ Sauce
This beef brisket recipe has a smoky flavor that makes this brisket taste as if it has been barbecued on a grill. But this beef brisket is slow cooked in the oven. The BBQ flavor comes from barbecue sauce.Prep Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:
- 2 large onions, sliced
- 1 3-4 lb. beef brisket, trimmed of excess fat
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 cup ketchup
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 275 degrees F.
- Spread sliced onions in a layer in the bottom of a 9 x 13" baking dish. Lay beef brisket on top of onions.
- Whisk together remaining ingredients. Pour over brisket. Cover tightly with aluminum foil. Bake brisket 3-4-1/2 hours, basting every hour or so, until tender.
- Let brisket rest 10 minutes before cutting. Important! Cut brisket against the grain for a mellow, juicy brisket.
Makes 6-8 servings of beef brisket with barbecue sauce.
