Raspberry Smoothie

Stephanie Gallagher
This raspberry smoothie is high in vitamins, fiber, protein and calcium, making it a wonderfully healthy breakfast, snack or dessert.

Like all fruit smoothies, this smoothie recipe tastes best right out of the blender. If you don't have a high-powered blender, like a Vita Mix Blender, try using fresh raspberries and ice instead of frozen raspberries.

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups frozen unsweetened raspberries
  • 1 cup vanilla soy milk
  • 1/2 cup lemon yogurt

Preparation:

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor, fitted with a metal blade, in the order listed.

  2. Puree until smooth. If using a blender, you may have to turn it off, and press fruit down into the blender's blades with a long spoon in order to puree the smoothie completely.

    Makes 2 servings.
