Sweetened dried cherries, dark chocolate chips and macadamia nuts give these chocolate cherry chip cookies rich flavor and incredible texture. The cookies are soft, a perfect complement to the crunchy nuts and chewy cherries. If you like black forest cake, you will adore these cookies. They have a very similar flavor profile. If you don't have macadamia nuts or don't want to spend the money on them, feel free to use chopped walnuts or pecans instead.
