Chocolate Chip Pie Recipe

chocolate chip cookies, you will adore this chocolate chip pie. Similar to a Kentucky bourbon pie, this chocolate pecan pie recipe is intensely sweet and best served when hot. A scoop of vanilla ice cream is the perfect topping for this chocolate chip pecan pie.
Ingredients:
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted and cooled to room temperature
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 Tbsp. bourbon (optional)
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips (or semisweet chocolate chips)
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 9-inch deep dish pie crust, unbaked (if frozen, thawed according to package directions)
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Beat eggs and sugar together until smooth.
- Beat in butter, flour and bourbon.
- Stir in chocolate chips and pecans. Pour into crust.
- Bake 35-45 minutes until the pie is browned on top and set around the edges. The center will still be jiggly.
- Let cool at least 15 minutes before serving.
