This chocolate sauce makes a wonderful topping for everything from ice cream to fresh raspberries to chocolate cake.
- 3/4 cup cream
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 8 oz. semisweet or dark chocolate, chopped
- Heat cream and butter in a heavy saucepan over medium heat just until bubbles start to form around the edges.
- Place chocolate in a heat-proof dish. Pour cream sauce over. Stir until chocolate melts.
