Prep Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1-1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup finely-chopped peanuts
- 1-2 quarts fresh strawberries, washed, stems left on
Preparation:
- Line 2 cookie sheets with waxed paper or parchment paper. Set aside.
- Place chocolate chips and peanut butter in a microwave-safe container. Heat on medium (50% power) for 30 seconds. Stir and repeat, if necessary, until the chips are completely melted.
- Place the chopped peanuts in a wide, shallow dish or a flat plate.
- Dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate mixture, allowing the excess to drip off. Then gently roll in the peanuts, pressing lightly with your fingertips to help the peanuts adhere.
- Place on prepared cookie sheets. Let cool at room temperature or refrigerate until hardened.
