BBQ Chicken Recipe

The challenge in making BBQ chicken is preventing the outside of the chicken from burning before the inside is cooked through. This is traditionally solved by painting the barbecue sauce on the chicken at the end of cooking. But this recipe uses a different method: an electric skillet. The result is a tender, tasty BBQ chicken through and through.

The whole family loved it!, Member nolteteam

I didn't have orange soda on hand, so I used equal parts of diet 7-up and orange juice to make the 16 oz. of ""orange soda."" Next time, I'll try the orange soda (diet) to see what the difference might be. I only had boneless, skinless chicken breasts from the freezer on hand. My 11-yr old daughter had two and still wanted more! I served it with rice pilaf and veggies. Also, the whole house had a wonderful sweet orange aroma long after dinner was over. I'm glad to have found this recipe. Thanks for posting it!
