George Foreman Grilled Sandwich Recipe

You don't have to use gourmet ingredients to jazz up your kids' school lunches. This grilled sandwich recipe is a perfect example. It's a regular bologna and cheese sandwich, but by making it on the George Foreman grill, it has a whole new flavor.

To keep this sandwich warm for school lunches, pack it in an insulated lunch box.

Ingredients:

  • 4 slices white whole wheat bread
  • 2 tsp. butter
  • 2 tsp. Dijon mustard
  • 6 slices lean beef bologna
  • 2 slices swiss cheese

Preparation:

  1. Preheat George Foreman grill.

  2. Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.

  3. Flip bread over, and spread mustard on the other side of two of the bread slices.

  4. Top with the bologna and cheese. Cover with the remaining two bread slices, butter sides facing out.

  5. Grill until crispy, about 2 minutes.
