Peanut Butter Sandwich on Banana Bread

Want a fun way to jazz up the average peanut butter sandwich? Try making it with banana bread instead of white or wheat bread. The results are divine.

You can add jelly, sliced fresh bananas, make it with gourmet peanut butter or just keep it simple. The kids will go nuts over this fun peanut butter banana bread sandwich.

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
  • 2 slices banana bread
  • 2 Tbsp. peanut butter
  • sliced fresh bananas (optional)
Preparation:
  1. Slice banana bread into slices 1/4-inch to 1/2-inch thick.

  2. Spread peanut butter over one slice of banana bread. Top with fresh banana slices, if using.

  3. Top with another slice of banana bread. Cut in half.
Enjoy!

Note: To jazz up this recipe even more, make it with homemade chocolate cherry peanut butter or some other gourmet peanut butter.
