Stromboli Recipe

Most stromboli recipes are made with ingredients you'd find in a pizza, like tomato sauce, cheese, peppers, and olives. This stromboli recipe is made with deli ingredients, making this stromboli more like a deli sandwich in an easy-to-eat stromboli form.

Serve this stromboli warm or cold.

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 13.8 oz. refrigerated pizza crust, such as Pillsbury
  • 1-2 Tbsp. Dijon or regular mustard
  • 1/4 lb. extra lean deli corned beef
  • 1/4 lb. deli turkey breast
  • 1/4 lb. sliced swiss cheese

Preparation:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

  2. Unfold pizza crust and flatten to about a 12 x 16 inch rectangle.

  3. Spread mustard over crust in a thin layer. (Hint: Start with 1 tablespoon and if it looks too bare, add more.)

  4. Layer deli meats and cheeses over half of the crust, leaving the other half bare. Fold bare crust over deli meat. Make 3 slits in the top of the stromboli with a knife to allow steam to escape.

  5. Bake 15-18 minutes or until golden brown.
