Turkey Stuffing Recipe

This turkey stuffing recipe is easy, because it starts with a dry herbed stuffing mix. Apple cider adds great flavor to this easy turkey stuffing recipe. Serve with Thanksgiving turkey, roast turkey breast or your favorite chicken recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup diced celery
  • 1/2 cup diced carrot
  • 16 oz. dry herb stuffing mix
  • 1 cup turkey or chicken stock
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1/2 tsp. dried sage
  • 1/2 tsp. dried rosemary
  • kosher salt and freshly-ground black pepper, to taste

Preparation:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 2-quart casserole dish with cooking spray.

  2. Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

  3. Add onions, celery and carrots. Cook, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are softened, 4-5 minutes.

  4. Toss with stuffing mix, turkey stock, apple cider, sage and rosemary. Taste, and add salt and pepper as needed.

  5. Pour into prepared casserole dish. Bake 30-45 minutes.
Serve stuffing with turkey.
