Black Bean Dip

Black bean dip makes a tasty and healthy appetizer or snack anytime. I like to serve this black bean dip with raw carrots and tortilla chips.

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Total Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 15 oz. can black beans
  • 3 oz. cream cheese
  • 3/4 cup salsa
  • 2 Tbsp. lime juice
  • 1 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and diced (optional)

Preparation:

  1. Drain and rinse black beans.

  2. Place all ingredients in the work bowl of a food processor, fitted with a metal blade. Puree until smooth.
Serve with tortilla chips, pita bread triangles, carrot sticks and celery sticks.
