Deviled Eggs Recipe
This deviled eggs recipe is a little sweet, a little spicy and a little tangy. The combination of flavors works beautifully.Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
- 6 large eggs
- 2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp. sour cream
- 1 Tbsp. horseradish mustard
- 2 Tbsp. blue cheese crumbles
- 1 tsp. pickle relish
- 1/4 tsp. kosher salt
- paprika for garnish
Preparation:
- Place eggs in a saucepan. Cover with water by one inch. Partially cover the saucepan with a lid. Bring to a boil over high heat.
- Let eggs boil for exactly 30 seconds (time it). Immediately cover eggs and remove from heat. Let stand covered 15 minutes (time it).
- Peel eggs under cold water. Slice in half lengthwise. Scoop out egg yolk into a medium bowl.
- Add mayonnaise, sour cream, mustard, blue cheese, relish and salt. Mash gently with a fork. Spoon mixture into egg white halves, or spoon into a resealable bag. Cut off the bottom tip. Pipe into egg white halves.
- Garnish with paprika.
Serve immediately or refrigerate for several hours and serve cold.
