Deviled Eggs Recipe

This deviled eggs recipe is a little sweet, a little spicy and a little tangy. The combination of flavors works beautifully.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp. sour cream
  • 1 Tbsp. horseradish mustard
  • 2 Tbsp. blue cheese crumbles
  • 1 tsp. pickle relish
  • 1/4 tsp. kosher salt
  • paprika for garnish

Preparation:

  1. Place eggs in a saucepan. Cover with water by one inch. Partially cover the saucepan with a lid. Bring to a boil over high heat.

  2. Let eggs boil for exactly 30 seconds (time it). Immediately cover eggs and remove from heat. Let stand covered 15 minutes (time it).

  3. Peel eggs under cold water. Slice in half lengthwise. Scoop out egg yolk into a medium bowl.

  4. Add mayonnaise, sour cream, mustard, blue cheese, relish and salt. Mash gently with a fork. Spoon mixture into egg white halves, or spoon into a resealable bag. Cut off the bottom tip. Pipe into egg white halves.

  5. Garnish with paprika.
Serve immediately or refrigerate for several hours and serve cold.
