Pizza Dip Recipe

Hot Pizza Dip

This pizza dip recipe is a wonderful way to expand a picky eater's palate.

It has enough of the foods that are familiar to most kids -- cheese and salsa -- to make them willing to try it.

I don't recommend lying or trying to hide the beans or black olives (or whatever is new to them). I'm not a big fan of sneaking to get kids to eat vegetables I say just tell the kids what's in this dip or make it together. They may not try this pizza dip the first time, but if you serve it often, it may very well become a family favorite.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 2 hours

Ingredients:

  • 1 8 oz. package cream cheese
  • 1 14 oz. can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 cup mild salsa
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 2 Tbsp. sliced black olives
