This recipe for deviled eggs is a favorite for parties, holidays and potlucks. Be sure to use dry ranch salad dressing, not bottled salad dressing, for this recipe.

If you're making these for a crowd, use a food processor to mix the filling. It will give the yolks a nice, smooth texture.

Yield: 12 ranch deviled eggs

Ingredients:

  • 6 large eggs
  • 3 Tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp. dry ranch salad dressing mix
  • 1 tsp. yellow mustard
  • paprika for garnish

Preparation:

  1. Place eggs in a saucepan in a single layer. Cover with water by one inch. Bring to a rolling boil. Cover, and remove eggs from heat. Let eggs stand 13 minutes, covered. Transfer eggs to an ice bath or run under cold water and peel.

  2. Slice eggs in half lengthwise. Scoop out yolks. Add mayonnaise, ranch dressing mix and mustard to egg yolks. Mix well. Spoon into egg white shells. Garnish with paprika.
