Cabbage Salad

I like to serve this health salad recipe with everything from fried chicken to bacon cheeseburgers. This health salad also makes a great potluck or picnic recipe.

Prep Time: 1 hour, 20 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 head cabbage, shredded
  • 1 small green pepper, seeded and sliced
  • 1 small red pepper, seeded and sliced
  • 1 small yellow pepper, seeded and sliced
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 2 large carrots, peeled and shredded
  • 1/4 cup diced onions
  • 1/3 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 Tbsp. granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. freshly-ground black pepper
