Green Salad Recipe
Creating new salad recipes is a bit of a hobby with me. This one turned out to be a family favorite. I think it's the combination of sweet and juicy grapes with salty bacon and crunchy croutons that does it. Serve with everything from swiss steak to chicken enchiladas.Prep Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
- 5 slices bacon
- 1 cup seedless red grapes
- 1 10 oz. bag iceberg lettuce mix
- 1/4 cup shaved Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup croutons
- Three Cheese Ranch Dressing, to taste
Preparation:
- Fry bacon until crisp. Drain on paper towels. Set aside.
- Slice grapes in half.
- In a large salad bowl, toss sliced grapes with lettuce, cheese and croutons. Crumble bacon over top. Add dressing to taste. Mix well.
