Crockpot Mashed Sweet Potatoes Recipe

Mashed Sweet Potatoes for the Crockpot

Slow Cooker Mashed Sweet Potatoes

Stephanie Gallagher
This Crockpot mashed sweet potatoes recipe makes a fantastic side dish for everything from ham to roast turkey. Fresh sweet potatoes are infused with the usual flavorings - brown sugar, butter and cinnamon, plus a little cream cheese for body. But this recipe has the addition of crumbled bacon on top, which gives it a zing of savory pizzazz.

If you're looking for a change from the standard sweet potato casserole for Thanksgiving dinner, these mashed sweet potatoes make the perfect side dish. You can double, triple or even quadruple the recipe. And because this recipe is made entirely in the slow cooker, it's easy and doesn't take up any oven or stove space when prepping for big holiday dinners.
