Turkey Casserole Recipe
This turkey casserole recipe is one of those easy one-dish meals that can be eaten right away or made ahead and frozen. It's a great way to use leftover
turkey, too.
Ingredients:
- 16 oz. frozen hash browns
- 1 medium red pepper, diced
- 1 medium green pepper, diced
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 2 cups shredded cooked turkey
- 12 oz. evapoarted milk (skim is okay)
- 1 10 oz. can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 6-8 dashes hot sauce
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9 x 13 baking dish with cooking spray.
- Place hash browns in a large bowl. Break up any large, frozen chunks with a fork.
- Add red pepper, green pepper, onions, turkey, evapoarted milk, soup, 1/2 cup of the cheese and the hot sauce. Mix well. Pour into prepared pan. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup of cheese.
- Bake on center rack of the oven for 45 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
