Want to make a really unique Valentine's Day dessert? Try these heart-shaped chocolate cheesecake ravioli for an extra special sweet treat!

A Not Too Sweet Dessert for Your Sweethearts

Love ravioli? Try these heart-shaped chocolate ravioli for a fun and festive dessert this Valentine's Day.

Filled with a mocha cheesecake filling, the strawberry-dough-flavored, heart-shaped ravioli are homemade from Alfonso Gourmet Pasta Co.

The filling flavor is subtle and not too sweet, which makes these ravioli a perfect partner for a nice homemade vanilla sauce or chocolate sauce. Top it off with a sprinkle of powdered sugar, and your friends and family will think you're a gourmet chef.

Unfortunately these ravioli come at gourmet price. Be prepared to spend $40 or more -- not exactly a cheap dessert.

The cost comes from the way the ravioli are prepared and shipped. Homemade, the ravioli are flash-frozen and shipped overnight in dry ice. Store in your freezer until you're ready to use, then cook them right from the freezer. I found they tasted perfect when cooked just 6 minutes -- no more.
